Bahía Saffron is a Canarian-Indian coastal restaurant on Calle la Marina in Los Abrigos, in the south of Tenerife. Bahía is Spanish for bay; saffron is India's most precious spice. Our kitchen cooks where the two meet: Canarian classics re-seasoned with the spices of India's coasts, served in a dining room we made by hand, with sculpted octopus and seahorses, resin ocean waves set with real shells, shell-and-pearl mosaics and gold mirror-inlay panels.
We are open daily from 8:30 to 16:30 for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Dinner service is coming soon.
Vegetarian (V) and vegan (VG) dishes are marked on the menu, and gluten-free options are available. Prices include IGIC. See the full breakfast and lunch menu.
The restaurant brings together two coastlines and one table: the tide and light of the Canarian shore, and the tawa, curry leaf, coconut and masala of India's coast. Nothing in the room is mass-produced. Read our story.
